New album out April 1- NO JOKE!

Beyond the City of the Dead, the follow-up to debut, The Rising, by Werewolves in Siberia is officially being announced for April 1, 2014.  Digital downloads as well as cassettes on Graveyard Calling will be available that day.  Digital downloads come free w/ purchase of the limited edition cassette if you choose to order one.  Head over to the Graveyard Calling page and pick up any number of their cassettes (including what’s left from the limited run of The Rising) and be on the lookout for Beyond the City of the Dead April 1.  For now, take a listen to Lycanthropic Dreamscape off the new album to get yourself hyped…

Cassette art sneak peek…

As you all probably know, The Rising is scheduled for a cassette release from the UK’s Graveyard Calling Records in November. 3D art and glasses will make this limited edition a hell of a collect it’s item for the WIS fans out there.
Travis Berg from Boise, ID’s top tattoo shop, Inkvision, has supplied some killer art. Above is a sneak peek of the art, completely untouched. Can’t wait to get this sleeve put together. It’s going to be awesome.

Mid-September Update

Two new songs have been submitted for the upcoming Halloween double album Graveyard Calling Records comp. The comp will contain one set of Halloween-themed music and one set of more ambient “haunted attraction” style tracks by horror artists from around the world. Experiments in Torture will be on the Halloween themed portion and Dungeon of Doom is the ambient track for the haunt portion.
In other news, songs are still coming together for both Monkey Puzzle Cinema’s Post|Human (currently in post production editing) soundtrack and the next WIS album. Got some really cool stuff for both. Really looking forward to getting it all out there when it’s done.
The cassette for The Rising is in the art stages. Currently, Travis Berg of InkVision Tattoo is getting some really cool art together for it. There will be a 3D effect on the art and it will come with 3D glasses. A collect it’s item for sure, it will be extremely limited edition and still slated for a November release through Graveyard Calling.
There is another t-shirt design in the works as well, as I stated in a previous update. Nothing has been finalized yet but the artist lined up is phenomenal and has done some kick ass projects in the past. I really want to unveil but it’s going to have to wait.
I’ll leave it on the note that part 1 and part 2 of a Halloween treat are ready. More details soon…

Quick early September update

Not many WIS updates as of late. The truth is, I’ve been busy working on album #2 as well as an indie horror soundtrack. There’s a good start on both but there’s no rushing this. Don’t forget, “The Rising” is out on limited edition cassette on Graveyard Calling Records this November.
There are also a few new t-shirt designs in the works. Got a great artist lined up who’s worked on some pretty great projects for cult classic movies and killer record labels. No specific time on these but hopefully they’ll be out there sometime in October. More info on this later.
